About Me

Hi, I’m Joy, founder of JOOY Yoga.

During my 16 years in fast-paced corporate life,  yoga was my way to find balance — and it changed everything. What started as stress relief, and making the most of a gym membership I barely used, became a passion, leading me to train in Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Meditation, Breathwork and Prenatal & Postnatal yoga.

Now, I specialise in guiding beginners and busy professionals to build confidence on the mat, ease tension from long hours at a desk, and discover the calm that yoga brings.

My classes are small, supportive, and alignment-focused, designed to help you feel at home — even if you’re brand new.

Explore Yoga:
Beginners Course

Start your yoga journey here – a 6-week course for beginners or those coming back from a long break/injury* which aims to build strength, flexibility, and confidence on the mat.

Focused on alignment, and mindful movement— building on both physical and mindful skills week-by-week.

Local In Person Group Classes

Regular sessions for all levels – move, breathe, and reset with accessible flows and a welcoming vibe.

Suitable for graduates of Explore Yoga and those with some experience to embed their knowledge in a welcoming, accessible format.

A creative practice which is both challenging and mindful.

Events, Pop Ups, Partnerships and Online Options

We run regular events and pop-ups in and around London, including half-day and day retreats, plus collaborations with local wellness practitioners.

Prenatal and
Postnatal Yoga

Guiding you to transition safely from a regular yoga practice into your prenatal journey or back from pregnancy to build your strength, core and body confidence.

Postnatal Yoga options with or without your baby.

Whilst practicing in a group setting comes with many benefits, group classes don’t suit everyone’s schedule or learning style.

We curate a supportive environment for students to grow their practice from home or the office aimed at building body confidence.

Wellness Days

More and more businesses are offering in-house wellness classes or gym partnerships as perks for their employees.

Our classes can be created to bring the most benefits for all types of corporate groups – whether desk-based workers; hybrid groups; time-poor executives;  or even those on their feet all day.

We also curate special one-off classes for Wellness Days  – even with puppies! Do I hear, “Bring-Your-Dog-To-Work-Day” ?
